Selston Parish Council consists of 21 elected members representing all parts of the parish and headed by a Chairman and their contribution to parish life is entirely voluntary.
The work of the Council is carried out by the Clerk who is also responsible for ensuring that the Parish Council fulfils its legal obligations and does not act beyond its powers. The Clerk is a paid employee. Selston Parish Council now employs two Clerks who together make up one full time position.
Council meetings are held monthly on the last Tuesday of every month at the Old Council Offices. Members of the public are welcome to attend and anyone wishing to address the Council can do so on any subject provided written notice is received by the Council. If you have any queries, please speak to the Clerks.
